Casey Jamerson

Casey Jamerson, a small-town girl from Indiana is a young singer/songwriter who takes country-rock to a whole new level. At the age of only eighteen, Casey has had a astonishing start in the music industry! She completed her first full CD in 2006; (produced by Nashville’s Bullpen Music and engineered by Melissa Mattey) the album is a compilation of songs written by some of Music City’s best song writers who have worked with Alan Jackson, Tracy Byrd, and Rebecca Lynn Howard.

In the fall, Casey was attending Indiana University on a softball scholarship when she answered the phone call most artists only dream of receiving. Grammy Award winning producer, Paul Worley, (Martina McBride, the Dixie Chicks, Big and Rich, Sara Evans, and Lady Antebellum) came across a demo of Casey's self-titled CD and took an interest in the young and upcoming artist. Around Thanksgiving, the meeting was set. Casey sang in Mr. Worley's office and he loved what he heard! Paul Worley's commitment to work with Casey is something very few artists have the privilege to experience. With college, a division one athletic scholarship, and the opportunity of a lifetime in front of her, Casey had some tough decisions to make. After consulting all the people involved, she decided this was the time to "follow her passion," which is country music. This past January Casey relinquished her scholarship and moved to Nashville to begin work on her new album!

Whitney Thetford has had a love for singing since her very first solo in the 1st grade elementary school Christmas production. And after being involved with her high school music program she realized that performing for an audience was something she was truly passionate about! Whitney has since preformed in over 25 productions at the Coachlight Musical Theater in Brown County, Indiana, where she was got the opportunity to portray country music legend Patsy Cline in the production of “The Music of Patsy Cline.” In 2008 she was the Colgate Country Showdown winner for Indianapolis and is a frequent guest performer at the Little Nashville Opry. Whitney’s strong vocals have often been heard singing the National Anthem for various events across the Midwest including the NFL, MLB, The Indy 500, and The Nationals Drag Races. The Eastern Wing Band

If you’re familiar with the local country music scene then chances are you’re familiar with The Eastern Wing Band! Formed in 1994 by lead singer, Ricky Myers, this very versatile, high-energy 5-piece group consists of members with over 30 years experience in the music and entertainment business. Over the past 15 years all the members of Eastern Wing have been thoroughly dedicated to increasing their musicianship by tightening their style, harmonies, and talent; remaining enthusiastic while learning new material and exploring new challenges. The hard work has definitely paid off, and though they started out booking small performances at local festivals and clubs they have now expanded to playing larger venues all over the state of Indiana and parts of the Midwest. In addition to touring they have produced two albums, the first of which include their original ‘Overheat in a Heartbeat,’ and had the opportunity to open for Black Oak Arkansas and Nashville recording artist Wade Hayes. Dusti Dawn

One of the most important qualities to have when trying to make it in the world of Country music is tenacity and if there’s one person that has tenacity, it’s Dusti Dawn. Dusti has dedicated her life to developing a musical career that stretches across all genres, but when it comes down to it, her heart lies in country. Whether it’s a stone cold country ballad or an up-tempo dance floor scorcher, Dusti can pull it off. She just loves to perform!

Her passion for music started by humming at the dinner table when she was just a little girl and it has grown immensely from there. Dusti has performed in various venues throughout Indiana and played showcases in both Las Vegas and Los Angeles. She recently released a CD entitled “Rebel Queen” that is quickly growing in popularity.

Dusti vows to go as far as she can in the industry and will settle for nothing less than making it to the top! She is definitely an artist to keep an eye on!

Corey Cox

Corey is yet another absolutely terrific young talent from Pendleton, Indiana! He got his first guitar when he was fifteen years old; and while most kids only learn a few chords that was not the case for Corey! It wasn’t long after he started strumming and singing along with some familiar country tunes that his music career quickly shifted into gear. Within two years, he played his first acoustic concert in a small town bar in Markleville, Indiana. By four years, he had formed his first band and started playing in local bars and within five years he found himself on stage in front of more than 2,000 people opening up for Diamond Rio.

From that point on many doors began to open up. He had the opportunity to record with John Mellencamp’s drummer Dane Clark, who also went on to produced Corey's latest five songs (set to be featured on a yet to be released CD). Along with Dane, other members of the John Mellencamp band were called upon to play on the tracks. After finishing up recording at an Indianapolis studio Corey, his family, and Dane traveled to Nashville to get the tracks master mixed by producer Ray Kennedy. We can’t wait to hear the final product!

Shilo

Catchy beats, awesome guitar work, and many fun lyrics are the hallmark of Shilo; a band composed of five guys based out of Fort Wayne. They recently debuted with their first radio single, "Dodgin’ a Ford in my Chevrolet;" a song that was recorded in the famed Project Room Studio in Hendersonville. After watching it receive critical acclaim from a number of sources and climb to the number one spot on the Independent Charts they released their second single “A Pick Up In My Pickup.” Shilo has quite the performing resume too; including the likes of Toby Keith, Lee Ann Womack, Joe Nichols, and Gary Allan, just to name just a few. And they recently played to a standing room only crowd at the Cadillac Ranch in Music City. Shilo’s unique sound can be attributed in part to their diverse influences; having named people like Waylon Jennings to George Strait to Aerosmith as inspiration. This is another band that is definitely worth checking out in concert…just make sure you wear your dancin’ boots!

South of Sunset

We love South of Sunset first and foremost because they were, quite literally, formed in a garage back in 2006 in Elwood, IN. Although the band got rolling in 2006 they’ve spent the past 3 years evolving towards the current formation of the band. They originally called themselves One Step Closer, and later changed their name to Third Street. They say third times a charm, and once Pete McCormick took over vocals the band in its current incarnation, South of Sunset, was born. In the summer of 2008 Pete and drummer Brad Bannister added Scott Allen on the bass. Once keyboardist Brian Baker joined the group in early December 2008 they almost had the sound they were going for. But it was just a few months later they finally completed it by adding Jason Roberts, who could play a mean country lead guitar, and now South of Sunset is amassing a strong following all though central Indiana! The guys are adding concert dates quickly, so be sure to check out their myspace to see when they’ll be performing near you!

KJ Testin

KJ Testin is a talented 24 year-old singer from the outskirts of Indianapolis, Indiana. Her love for music is equally matched by her desire to share music with others. She grew up on modern country and rock & roll, loving everything from Faith Hill & Shania to Journey & Fall Out Boy. She recently recorded four songs in Nashville with Producer/Mixer, Ben Fowler (Rascal Flatts, Brooks & Dunn, Blake Shelton). According to Fowler, "Every once and a while I see a spark in some one new and with KJ... Let's just say I feel the fire".

The second half of 2009 will have KJ playing shows across the region, recording more songs, and working to build her fan/friend base. "I want to play everywhere I can, meet as many people as possible, and just keep this train rolling. Getting to meet people and share this music with them is such an awesome thing! Can I do it full-time?", KJ questions with a smile on her face.

While she doesn't know if music will ever make her a star or give her wealth she does know that playing it is how she would like to spend the rest of her life. And if all accounts are true, it sounds like KJ just might get a shot at making music her 9 to 5 real soon!
