Brad Paisley reveals he left the lyrics for new album American Saturday Night out of the liner notes intentionally because he wanted fans to "be surprised by things." Explains Brad, "I really wanted you guys to hear the songs first." The singer then promises to release the full lyrics soon. Meanwhile, Brad and Darius Rucker are among the headliners for the 90th annual Delaware State Fair, taking place June 23 to Aug. 1 in Harrington.

Terri Clark plans to release her new album, Takes the Long Way Home, in September. She recorded the 11-song collection in Nashville following her departure from her former label Sony/BMG Nashville and her mother Linda's death from cancer. "To her, life was everything," says Terri. "It was about personal integrity, her family, the things she loved about living . . . and I realized I couldn't make my music for any less. My fans deserved that from me."

Taylor Swift has recorded a cover of rocker Tom Petty's hit "American Girl,". Elsewhere, the "Love Story" songstress graces the cover of Glamour's August issue, admitting inside that a world tour is among the items on her to-do list. Dolly Parton's latest compilation, The Very Best of Dolly Parton, has reached platinum status in the United Kingdom, selling more than 300,000 units. Next up for the veteran singer will be Dolly Live in London, a concert DVD based on her 2008 U.K. tour that's due to arrive in November. Nashville Star winner Chris Young's second album, The Man I Want To Be, is scheduled for a Sept. 1 release. The collection's first single is "Gettin' You Home (The Black Dress Song)." Two covers that made the album are Waylon Jennings' 1987 "Rose in Paradise" featuring Willie Nelson and Tony Joe White's "Rainy Night in Georgia."

Josh Turner's wife, Jennifer, gave birth to the couple's second son, Colby Lynch Turner, on Friday. "[Two-year-old] Hampton loves being a big brother and we're just one big happy family," the proud papa says. Colby arrived just after his dad finished recording his latest album. "We finished the album last Thursday at 6 p.m." Josh reveals. "After I got home, Jennifer went into labor and we were at the hospital by 10:30 p.m. that night. Now that's what I call perfect timing."

Lost Trailers axeman Stokes Nielson became a father for the second time on June 22 when his wife, Maria, gave birth to a son in Nashville. The new addition, whose name has not yet been released, weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces. He joins 2-year-old big sister Averly. Stokes and the Trailers are currently traveling across the United States on their Lean, Clean & Local tour, which will wrap up Oct. 22 in Atlanta.

The marriage was a "legal formality," as a larger ceremony will take place sometime in the next few weeks. Charles and his Lady A bandmates might let it loose a bit when that day comes, as they keep things conservative when on the road. One of the songs on the due-this-summer solo album from former Lonestar lead singer Richie McDonald is called "Race Day," an homage to the NASCAR lifestyle that features a guest appearance from racing legend Darrell Waltrip. The tune currently is being used on Speed Channel before its coverage of stock car events, and might just make its way to Fox if Darrell, now a TV analyst, has any say in the matter.

The playful rivalry between good friends Craig Morgan and Blake Shelton showed up once again on June 10, at Blake's fan club party in Nashville. Craig was on hand at the event, and at one point, took over the microphone to read a poem that poked fun at Blake's sexuality, the titles of some of his songs and the fact that his girlfriend (Miranda Lambert) has outperformed him at times at the cash register.

"He was the most memorable and impactful entertainer on me as a child," says Luke Bryan. "My parents had Elvis [Presley] to watch and adore. I had Michael Jackson."
