HANK's Latest

The American Cancer Society is kicking off the Central Indiana Relay For Life season, and 97.1 HANK-FM is proud to be a sponsor!

Relay For Life unites more than 3.5 million people in over 4,800 communities nationwide in FIGHTING BACK against cancer so that one day our loved ones will no longer have to hear the words “you have cancer.” Community members form teams, and each team keeps one person on the track throughout the overnight event in honor of the fact that cancer never sleeps.

By participating in your local event, you will be helping the American Cancer Society continue:
- Offering up-to-date cancer information, day-to-day help, and emotional support through 1.800.ACS.2345.
- Educating community members about important cancer prevention and early detection tips.
- Funding potentially lifesaving cancer research, including nearly $10 million worth of research right here in Indiana

With 32 events throughout Central Indiana, there’s bound to be an American Cancer Society Relay For Life event near you. For a complete list, look below. Join the fight against cancer and have fun doing it!
