Sneak Preview of the Indiana Flower & Patio Show

For me, the highlight of this year's Indiana Flower and
Patio show was 'The Adventures of Robin Hood'. (The theme this year is
literary; the show is called 'A Novel Idea'.)
Antlers provide the
framework of a chandelier over a rough-hewn dining table and stools
surrounded by flora and a babbling waterfall. The table is set with
carved plates and bowls resting on animal pelts, readied for the return
of the Merry Men. Maid Marian was even in attendance when I was there!
Other highlights include the Little House on the Prairie, Wizard of Oz
and Dr. Seuss displays - each of these absolutely captures the essnce
of the tales on which they were based. There's a wealth of ideas to be
found at the Fairgrounds this year.
